The thread of Elidinis is an uncommon reward from the rewards chest within the Tombs of Amascut. Players with 75 Crafting^[boostable] can use the thread on a rune pouch with a needle in their inventory to create a divine rune pouch, which can store four types of runes instead of three. This process can be reversed to return both items.

The base rate of receiving the thread is 1/10. To mitigate bad luck, the rate is scaled linearly with the number of raid completions, up to a maximum of 3/10 upon completing 15 raids.^[1] Once the player gets their first thread, the drop rate is decreased to 1/50.^[2]^[3] Additionally, players can buy the thread from Perdu for 350,000 coins if they have obtained it from the Tombs of Amascut at least once.

Note: This item is destroyed on death.

Trivia

Supposedly, the thread was created after Elidinis saved a dry, barren field of flax during a drought. She brought water from the River Elid to the field, restoring the dead and dying plants to life. The first spool of thread created from the rejuvenated flax was dedicated to Elidinis by the farmer's wife, and to her surprise, the thread never ran out, no matter how much was used.
