Het's Seal

Het's Seal is found in the centre of the Path of Het in the Tombs of Amascut. Initially protected, the seal must be weakened by redirecting the energy beams from the caster statue to the shielded statue. Once weakened, players can destroy the seal with a pickaxe. Doing so will damage the seal (scaled by the pickaxe tier used and player's Mining level) and grant 35 Mining experience every 3 ticks (1.8 seconds), until it is destroyed or becomes protected again.

Once the energy beam shoots the shielded statue, the seal is removed from the obelisk and players can proceed to mine the obelisk for 15 ticks, or 9 seconds, before the seal is protected once more. It is possible to hit the statue 8 times per cycle by standing 1 tile away from the seal and clicking to mine the seal one tick before the statue fires the beam.

Damage dealt to the seal scales in 3 stages with the player's Mining level as well as with the pickaxe used, but is not influenced by the mining speed. The Dragon pickaxe and Crystal pickaxe are equivalent. Only visible boosts will affect the damage dealt; invisible boosts like the Celestial ring will not have any effect.

Players with a Mining level of 84 or lower will always have a max hit of 12 if using a dragon pickaxe or equivalent which will always guarantee a two-cycle in a solo run if using the 8-hit method. However, players with the same Mining level while using a Rune pickaxe will only have a max hit of 10, which means very rarely even at 84 mining a player may be forced to three-cycle if they receive too many low-rolls.

Having a Mining level of at least 85 will increase the max hit to 19 if using a dragon pickaxe, and to 17 if using a rune pickaxe. This means in a solo with the 8-hit technique, it's guaranteed to one cycle with a dragon pickaxe or rune pickaxe.

Having a Mining level of 99+ will increase the max hit to 21 if using a dragon pickaxe, and can one cycle the room without needing the extra hit from the 8-hit technique, which allows for faster completions.

Note that raid level or selected invocations have no effect on the HP of Het's Seal. Its HP scales differently to other NPCs found within the raid. Because of this, larger groups will find that it is a lot easier to 1-cycle Het's Seal than a solo player.
