The ruby harvest is a butterfly that players can capture with the Hunter skill at level 15 or above, granting 24 Hunter experience. Players with level 25 Hunter can catch them barehanded.

When released from a butterfly jar, or captured without a jar, ruby harvests will boost the player's Attack level by 4 + 15% of their Attack level, rounded down. Jarred ruby harvests may be used in multicombat areas to share the Attack boost with up to three nearby players, provided that they have Accept Aid toggled on.

A common strategy is to set up some bird snares while hunting ruby harvests, increasing the maximum experience gain.
