A butterfly jar is used to contain captured butterflies or moths with the Hunter skill. These jars can also be turned into impling jars by treating them with imp repellent. Butterfly jars cannot be used to hold implings. They can be created by using one charge of a jar generator or bought in four different Hunter shops in Gielinor (in Yanille, Nardah, the Hunter Guild, and The Great Conch).
