The common kebbit is a kebbit that players can capture with the Hunter skill at level 3 or above, granting 36 Hunter experience.

When caught, they drop common kebbit fur, which can be used to make woodland camouflage gear.

The hunting technique is the same as for a couple other kebbits. Catching a common kebbit involves tracking it from its burrow to its final destination by searching for its trail. The player can unveil a kebbit's trail by searching the burrows, plants, and bushes. The kebbits are always found in a bush when caught. They can be caught by "attacking" the bush while wielding a noose wand.

To hunt the kebbit, start by inspecting a burrow until a trail of tracks appears. Follow the end of the tracks and continue by searching or inspecting nearby bushes and plants until the chat box has a message that reads: "It looks like there might be something hiding in this bush." Right click on the bush with a noose wand equipped, and select the attack option.

A ring of pursuit will drastically help with speeding up the process of levelling up, since it will reveal the entire track at once when equipped.
