Moss lizards are hunter creatures found within the Earthbound Cavern in Neypotzli, requiring level 20 Hunter to catch.
Players must use a rope on the trappable rocks, then rustle the nearby bushes to scare the lizards, which will run into the trap. Successfully catching one will give the player a raw moss lizard, which can be cooked and used as food whilst fighting the Moons of Peril.
During the Perilous Moons quest, players must catch a moss lizard to obtain its tail.
