Blood jaguars are an NPC summoned by the Blood Moon as one of her special attacks. They will spawn as multiple in a circle around the boss, with one standing in front of Eyatlalli's glyph, which is the one players can attack. While they are attacking, a damaging square of blood pools will continually spawn around the Blood Moon.

In order to avoid damage, players must step away from the jaguar prior to its attack, as they remain stationary, as well as timing it correctly to avoid the blood pools. Approximately 20% of the damage dealt to a jaguar will heal the player. Once a player has regained 20 Hitpoints total, hitting the jaguar will stop restoring Hitpoints unless more damage is taken.
