Rimmington is a small village in south-west Asgarnia. In addition to playing a role in several quests, the village is popular for its player-owned house portal, which players use to train Prayer by un-noting bones with Phials and then using them on a gilded altar.

Transportation

Many transport options bring players into or close to Rimmington, listed here with their arrival destination. From closest to farthest:

Rimmington also has docks hosting two ships, which offer transportation to Corsair Cove, Brimhaven, and Ardougne.

History

The following lore is sourced from Dragon Slayer I and dialogue with the Guildmaster.

Very little is known about Rimmington's history, but at least one of its residents (Melzar the Mad) arrived in 139, after the dragon Elvarg violently displaced the residents of Crandor. The Guildmaster says that Melzar fled "north of Rimmington," possibly indicating that the town already existed at this time.

Locations

Stores

Building Description
Rimmington General Store A two-story general store with a shopkeeper and shop assistant. The store rarely has anything of value in it, and is mainly stocked with willow logs and low level items.
Rommik's Crafty Supplies Located south of the Rimmington General Store. Rommik sells supplies useful for Crafting. His store is exactly the same as the Crafting store in Al Kharid. Players can purchase chisels, ring moulds, necklace moulds, amulet moulds, needles, thread, holy moulds, and tiara moulds from him.
Brian's Archery Supplies Located east of Rommik's store. Brian sells supplies used for ranging. His store is very similar to Lowe's Archery Emporium (located in Varrock), though is much less busy. Players can purchase steel arrows, mithril arrows, adamant arrows, oak shortbows, oak longbows, willow shortbows, willow longbows, maple shortbows, and maple longbows from him. There are also rats in his house which can be killed for rat's tails for the Witch's Potion quest.
