An oak longbow is a longbow made from oak. It can be made at level 25 Fletching by using a knife on oak logs to cut them into an oak longbow (u), granting 25 experience, and then using a bowstring on the unstrung bow, granting another 25 experience. It requires level 5 Ranged to wield and can fire arrows up to and including steel.
It has identical stats to the oak shortbow, but fires at a slower speed.
During the quest Ghosts Ahoy a player might acquire a signed oak bow which is exactly the same as the oak longbow, aside from its name.
Fletching an oak longbow from oak logs and a bow string will profit −192 while fletching an oak longbow from an oak longbow (u) and a bow string will profit −165.
