A guard is stationed in Varrock, east of Aubury's magic shop. He is found guarding the south-east members' section, that is blocked off by a gate running across its perimeter.
During the Biohazard quest, he will confiscate any vials that are to be delivered to Guidor, from Elena. To avoid this, they must be smuggled in by the chemist's deliverymen.

Trivia
- During the 25th Anniversary event, free-to-play players can go through the gate into south-east Varrock when previously they could not do so. Before this, it was possible to first go through the gate on a members world and then hop to a free-to-play world, as south-east Varrock is classified as a free-to-play area.
