Facilities are structures or devices that can be built on boats with various useful features. Facilities can be added to a boat by boarding it at the shipyard, and require both Sailing and Construction levels to build. A saw and a hammer are required to build or modify facilities. Facilities can be stored in facility bottles, which allows the stored facility to be moved to a different hotspot or even moved between boats. Constructing a facility this way still requires a hammer and saw.

Different types of boats have different numbers and types of facility hotspots available. Not all facilities can be built on all boats. For example, trawling nets cannot be built on rafts.

Cannons

Cannons are used in conjunction with cannonballs during ship combat.

Salvaging hooks are used to recover salvage from shipwrecks.
