Barracuda paint is a type of boat paint used to recolour the trim of a player's skiff or sloop via the boat schematics board at the Shipyard. Trimming a boat requires level 25 Sailing and 20 Construction, granting 10 Construction experience. One paint is required for trimming skiffs, while sloops require two.

Barracuda paint is received randomly from Marlin rank Barracuda Trials with the following rates, but only if the target time is achieved.^[1] The expected time to obtain a paint in the table below assumes the player always reaches the target time:

Barracuda paint, along with angler's, inky, salvor's, and shark paint, can be given to Trader Stan in exchange for merchant's paint.
