Shipwright Silas is the shipwright located at Aldarin, requiring completion of Children of the Sun to access. Shipwrights are NPCs found at large ports. They offer several boat-related services, such as allowing players to purchase new boats, customise owned boats, and to retrieve boats that have capsized or are at another port.

Without level 46 Sailing to dock at the port, Silas can only be used to destroy existing boats.

Select the "Customise-boat" talk option to be transported to the Shipyard to upgrade your boat. Your boat must be docked at Aldarin to do this.
