Mahogany logs are logs obtained from Woodcutting mahogany trees with a Woodcutting level of 50, and they yield 125 experience when cut. Players can burn these logs with the Firemaking skill for 157.5 experience at level 50 or above.

Players training Construction can bring mahogany logs to a sawmill to get a mahogany plank at a cost of 1,500 coins each. Alternatively, the Lunar spell Plank Make can allow players to convert them to planks at a lower cost, but at the expense of runes.

Simultaneously making 20 planks from mahogany logs is required to complete the medium Varrock Diary.

In addition to other sources listed below, mahogany logs can be effectively "purchased" by Managing Miscellania, unless the player is an Ultimate ironman. Miscellania's effective GP/resource rates aren't completely straightforward, since some money is spent on other resources. Assuming the player also has completed Royal Trouble, 10 workers are put on mahogany trees, the maximum value of 75,000 is deducted from the treasury each day, bird nests and the 25,000 that gets invested in other resources are ignored, the kingdom returns 223 mahogany logs per day at a cost of 50,000, or 224.20 per log.
