Green logs are created by using logs with a green firelighter, a possible reward from any tier of clue scroll. When burned they create a green fire, yielding 50 Firemaking experience, which is 10 more than regular logs. Additionally, every attempt to make a green fire is successful, unlike with regular fire.

Green logs can be added to the Odd Old Man's pot-boiler, but the resulting fire will be normal and the logs will be lost.

• Green flames typically indicate a presence of copper or boron. Due to the complexity of isolating boron, the firelighter most likely uses copper sulfate, which could be created by mining copper and then ionizing it with hot sulfuric acid such as that given by Elena.
