The funky shaped log is an item that is used on the beaver pet (and consumed) in order to permanently allow it to metamorphose into a variety of log-based colours.

It is purchased from the Forestry Shop for 15,000 anima-infused bark, as well as 500 noted oak, willow, teak, maple, mahogany, arctic pine, yew, magic, and redwood logs. Players (excluding Ultimate Ironmen) who have not used it on a beaver can sell the log back to the shop to get 80% of its cost in bark and logs back.

After consuming the funky shaped log, in order to change the colour of the beaver pet, the player needs to use the corresponding log on it. If the beaver has been recoloured and the player then metamorphs it to either the fox or the pheasant, then the beaver will return to the default colour when changed back.
