The fox whistle is a rare reward from the Poachers Forestry event. It is used on the beaver pet to allow it to metamorphose into a fox. It is consumed in the process.

There is a 1/30 chance to retrieve a fox whistle at the end of the event, provided a player is eligible to receive the full rewards of the event (meaning at least 1 trap has been disarmed).^[1] Upon receiving one, it will be placed in the inventory (or on the ground if it is full), and a game message in the chatbox will state Well done, you've saved the fox from the poachers! The fox has left you a gift... You feel a connection to the fox as if it wishes to travel with you....

Alternatively, players can purchase the fox whistle for 75,000 anima bark from the Forestry Shop. It can also be sold to the Forestry Shop for 250 anima-infused bark.

5 February 2025 (Update)	Drop rates for the Fox Whistle have been adjusted to 1 in 30 from their respective events. The Fox Whistle can now be purchased from for Forestry Shop for 75,000 Anima Bark a piece.
6 March 2024 (Update)	Unique drops from forestry events are now received in the inventory, provided that there is space.
14 February 2024 (Update)	The drop rate of the fox whistle has been increased to compensate for the changes to forestry events, rather than being influenced by the share of the event the player was present for.^[2] This rate was previously between 1/150 to 1/75 from level 1 to 99 Woodcutting, increased to 1/90 to 1/45. As they have been removed, trap disarmers are no longer required to receive the fox whistle.
