Enchantment Ritual is a Forestry event where players attempt to help a Dryad complete an eight-step ritual by standing on ritual circles that are unique to its group.

The goal of this event is for players to recognise and stand on a ritual circle unique to their group. There are five ritual circles, with one unique circle that a player must stand on; this will complete one step out of eight to complete the ritual. Eligible players can earn both anima-infused bark and Woodcutting experience. However, players who do not stand on the correct circle do not get any rewards for the step, as well as a decrease in bonus rewards. Players can prevent this with a strategy of creating shape and coloured pairs; afterwards, the player must stand on the one circle without a pair. At the end of the event, eligible players can also receive bonus anima bark, Woodcutting experience, and a chance of receiving a Petal garland, depending on the individual's performance.

The length of this event is two minutes, which includes eight correct steps; each step spawns five ritual circles, with one circle being the "odd one out". Each ritual circle may have one shape and one colour from the following:

Colour - Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow

Shape - Hexagon, Square, Star, and Triangle

To determine the unique circle, pair up two circles with matching shapes; these circles are not unique since they have a common shape. Then, pair up two circles with matching colours; these circles are not unique since they have a common colour. The circle that is not paired is considered unique, and the player must stand on it within 15 seconds (or 25 ticks equivalent) of the group spawning. An example of this is shown below:

To determine the unique ritual circle in this example, pair the two triangles and squares together, and pair the two orange and green colours together. The player must stand on the blue star circle since that circle was not involved in creating similar pairs. It may be useful to cast prayer spells such as Redemption to tell other players where to stand, especially if other players are on the mobile client.

Each player standing on the correct ritual circle receives an average of 20.8 anima bark and Woodcutting experience depending on the player's Woodcutting level, as described below. Bonuses of each are also rewarded when the event concludes. One only has to stand on the correct circle at the end of those 15 seconds to get experience, so if you time it right, it is possible to keep cutting wood until the very last moment to get full rewards.

Drop rates are estimated based on 1,690,331 samples from the Drop Rate Project, unless otherwise cited.

During the event, players receive experience based on their Woodcutting level each time they stand on the correct circle. Players who level up during the event will only get experience based on their previous level. Visible and invisible Woodcutting boosts increase the level used in the calculation, and boosts from the Lumberjack and Forestry outfits apply to the final total.

At the end of the event, bonus Woodcutting experience is awarded according to the player's Woodcutting level and how many steps were completed successfully. All boosts apply in the same way as above.

When receiving the Petal garland, a game message in the chatbox will state The Dryad also hands you a Petal garland. This reward is merely cosmetic and does not grant any boosts. However, it can be traded into the Friendly Forester for 150 anima bark.

During the event, either 20 or 21 anima-infused bark (20.8 on average) are awarded each time the player stands on the correct circle.

On completion, approximately 17.9 bonus bark are given for each step completed successfully. Players who are ineligible for full rewards but still complete steps receive only one bonus bark.
