A pheasant nest is a nest that appears as part of the Pheasant Control Forestry event, where players must retrieve pheasant eggs from the nest and turn them into the Freaky Forester.

Four pheasant nests will spawn during the Pheasant Control Forestry event, but only one will be unguarded. Players can only retrieve an egg from the unguarded nest. Attempting to take an egg from a guarded nest will result in the guarding pheasant stunning the player.

Alongside pheasant eggs, players have a chance to find pheasant tail feathers which can be crafted into the pheasant costume by using a needle and thread.

Upon retrieving an egg, players will receive the message You collect a pheasant egg. If the player also receives a pheasant tail feather, they will receive the message You collect a pheasant egg and find a feather too.

Players also have a chance of receiving a golden pheasant egg whilst picking up eggs from empty nests, as the chance of receiving the egg increases as the player's Woodcutting level also increases.^[1]
