The clothes pouch is an item that needs to be attached to the Forestry kit or basket (irreversible process) to allow the player to store the lumberjack or Forestry outfit to receive the outfit's benefits without having to wear them. Players can receive a partial amount of Woodcutting experience if at least one piece of either the lumberjack or Forestry outfit is placed inside. The upgraded Forestry kit must be equipped or in the player's inventory to receive the bonus. Players who have achieved level 99 Woodcutting can store both the clothes and cape pouches inside the Forestry kit.

They can be created by using a piece of leather on the clothes pouch blueprint with a thread in the inventory. Doing so requires level 50 Woodcutting and Crafting, and the blueprint is consumed in the process. The kit does not change any interface options when the clothes pouch is attached to the Forestry kit.

While the clothes pouch item itself weighs 1kg, when attached to the Forestry kit and with an outfit stored, the Forestry kit weighs 0 kg when worn.

Set effect compatibility

Equipping any piece of other outfits in the hat, body, legs, or boot slots which would be part of a set effect bonus, including various skilling outfits (including the Graceful outfit), Barrows sets, inquisitor's armour, etc. will disable the lumberjack effect for those slots.[1][2]

  1. ^ 1.0 1.1 Wearing any piece of the Forestry or Lumberjack outfit whilst having the clothes pouch carrying the same and full outfit will NOT disable the bonus effect. For example, wearing only a Lumberjack hat while storing the Forestry or Lumberjack outfit in the pouch will not interrupt or disable the bonus effect inside the pouch. You cannot stack the bonus effect by wearing one of the outfits while also having another stored in the forestry kit at the same time.
