The sturdy harness is an item used to combine the log basket and forestry kit into the forestry basket, combining the functionality of both items. This process can be reversed by right clicking the Forestry basket, heading into the configure options, and then choosing the dismantle option.

It is created by using the log brace with 2 ropes, 3 adamantite bars, and 45 steel nails, which requires 75 Smithing and Woodcutting to create.

To create the sturdy harness, combine the log brace with adamantite bars. The sturdy harness must be in your inventory before you can combine the log basket and forestry kit to make the Forestry Basket. The log brace alone will not work, and the combination will have no effect.

Prior to the 23 July 2025 QoL update^[1], most players opted not to make the Forestry Basket because it had to be unequipped to bank their logs. However, this update now allows players to empty a filled log basket without clicking through multiple menus.
