Pheasant tail feathers are an item used to create the pheasant costume. Players can use a needle and thread to create the outfit; 15 feathers are required per piece, for a total of 60 to create the full outfit.

There is a fixed 50%^[1] chance of obtaining one from Pheasant Nests as part of the Pheasant Control Forestry event. Excess feathers can be sold to the Friendly Forester for 5 anima-infused bark each.

14 February 2024 (Update)	The drop rate for the item was made a flat 1/2. Previously, it was 1/3 if players did not have the now-removed padded spoon and 1/2 if they did.

Trivia

Despite the Forestry Part 2 newspost stating that players must craft the pheasant costume via Asyff, the owner of the Varrock Fancy Clothes Store, he is not involved in the process at all, and players can simply use a needle and thread to craft the costume.
