Zenyte is the highest tier of gem in Old School RuneScape. Zenyte shards are dropped by tortured or demonic gorillas, then are combined with a cut onyx to produce an uncut zenyte, which can be cut to form a zenyte.

Cutting an uncut zenyte with a chisel requires level 89 Crafting and yields 50 experience. It can then be made into zenyte jewellery by using a furnace along with a gold bar and a mould.

Zenyte jewellery can be enchanted to make some of the most powerful jewellery in the game. Wearing any piece of enchanted zenyte jewellery requires level 75 Hitpoints.

Unlike other gems, zenytes do not appear to form naturally, but rather seem to have been created in some part due to Glough's mutagen being corrupted by reversing the flow of energy from the charged onyx.

Training

While zenyte can be used for training, it is highly impractical due to its scarcity causing extremely quick price fluctuations when it is traded in abnormal volumes. Any profit shown below reflects merely theoretical values, and should not be expected to be maintainable as the trade volumes of zenyte and unenchanted zenyte jewellery are exceedingly low.

Crafting

Zenyte can be crafted into jewellery at a furnace by using a gold bar and the appropriate crafting mould.

Zenyte jewellery can be enchanted using Lvl-7 Enchant, requiring level 93 Magic. The spell requires 1 cosmic rune, 20 soul runes, 20 blood runes and the piece of zenyte jewellery that is to be enchanted.
