Ranger gloves are a piece of Ranged armour that can be obtained by completing elite Treasure Trails. It's part of the ranger kit and at least 40 Ranged is required to wear these gloves, with no Defence requirement.

Their attack bonuses match those of a set of black d'hide vambraces, however, their defensive stats are significantly lower.

This item can be stored in the treasure chest of a costume room, provided that the interface of the corresponding clue tier is opened before attempting to store the item. Alternatively, the item can be used on the opened treasure chest to insert it without viewing the interface, as part of the ranger kit set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.

Trivia

For a brief period of five days, ranger gloves saw a sharp increase in price and trade volume as a result of the gloves being planned to be used as a component in creating vampyrium vambraces, a potential reward from the Theatre of Blood. The vampyrium vambraces failed its poll with 74.9% votes yes, 0.1% short of the 75% supermajority required for the item to enter the game.
- During this period between 7 March 2018 and 12 March 2018, units of ranger gloves were sold for as much as 19 million coins, ten times the gloves' normal price. Trade volume for the gloves was as high as 2,179 units during this period, more than 8 times the gloves' normal volume. As a result of player feedback, ranger gloves were removed as a requirement for creating the vambraces, and the vambraces were polled to be dropped as a standalone item.^[1]
Contrary to popular belief, the tan parts of the ranger gloves are not actually part of the gloves themselves, but rather a depiction of tan-shaded hands wearing the fingerless gloves. This makes ranger gloves the only hands slot item in the game whose sprite is displayed as such.
As a result, the colour of the lower half of the gloves changes according to the player's default skin tone, and thus can be changed by selecting a different skin tone at the Makeover Mage south-west of Falador. The variants are shown below:
