The 3rd age kiteshield is a part of the 3rd age melee set. Level 65 Defence is required to wield the kiteshield. The 3rd age kiteshield is a possible reward from hard, elite and master tier Treasure Trails and cannot be made through the Smithing skill.

Although it is one of the more powerful shields available in-game, it is rare to see it used in combat as there are several similarly powerful shields which are cheaper or significantly easier to obtain.

This item can be stored in the treasure chest of a costume room, provided that the interface of the corresponding clue tier is opened before attempting to store the item. Alternatively, the item can be used on the opened treasure chest to insert it without viewing the interface.
