Baby red dragons are located in the Brimhaven Dungeon, Forthos Dungeon, the Dragon Nest, and in the basement of the Myths' Guild. They have the same combat level as the baby blue dragons that inhabit the Taverley Dungeon.

Players seeking baby dragon bones before the completion of Dragon Slayer II often choose to fight their blue counterparts, as in both the Forthos Dungeon and Brimhaven Dungeon, there is a risk of being attacked by adult red dragons while using melee. Additionally, the Brimhaven Dungeon requires an axe and 875 to enter, and has wild dogs that can attack even when safespotting with Ranged or Magic.

Like all chromatic dragons, baby red dragons are weak to ranged, magic, and stab attacks. They do not attack with dragonfire.

29 January 2020 (Update)	The NPC name was changed back from "Baby dragon" to "Baby red dragon" to accommodate colourblind players.
10 September 2015 (Update \| poll)	More baby red dragons spawn in Brimhaven Dungeon in an extended area.
29 August 2006 (Update)	The NPC was graphically updated again. The NPC was renamed from "Baby red dragon" to "Baby dragon". The NPC's combat level was decreased from 65 to 48.
