The rite of vile transference is a scroll which when read will permanently upgrade the Death Charge spell to restore special attack energy from two targets per cast instead of one.

The rite is obtained as a drop from Yama himself through opening dossiers. Players have a 1/15 chance of obtaining the rite when opening a dossier; as the dossier is a 1/12.1 drop, this effectively makes the overall rate around 1/181.5 assuming a solo kill, as the dossier drop rate scales with contribution.

Additionally, the rite possesses a bad luck mitigation mechanic where the first dossier the player opens after reaching 100 Yama victories will guarantee the rite as loot. As the dossier can be deposited into the bank, wary players can opt to hold off on opening a dossier until they reach 100 victories.
