The Trailblazer harpoon is an item obtained within the Trailblazer Reloaded League, given to players at a bank upon unlocking the Infernal Gathering relic alongside the trailblazer pickaxe and axe.

With no requirement to use and equip, the Trailblazer harpoon functions as a crystal harpoon with similar effects to an infernal harpoon (with a two-tick increase in performance compared with normal tools), in which any fish caught are cooked, granting Cooking experience regardless of level requirements. If equipped, it will also work for fish that don't require a harpoon to be caught, e.g. raw trout. This effect can be turned off and on through the use of the 'Toggle' option on the harpoon. This option will toggle the effect for all three trailblazer tools. In addition, the harpoon also inherits the crystal harpoon's special attack.

Contrary to the item's destroy text, players who lose the trailblazer harpoon must reclaim it from The Sage in Lumbridge rather than the Leagues Tutor as stated in the destruction confirmation dialogue. The Leagues Tutor did not exist at the time – the Leagues Assistant did, but was only found on non-Leagues worlds.

This item appeared in a previous temporary event, with the following differences from its latest incarnation:

• Trailblazer League
  • The harpoon was obtained by unlocking the Infernal Gathering relic.
  • The harpoon had no "Toggle" option; the fish cooking passive effect was always active.
  • If lost, it was reclaimable from the Leagues Tutor rather than The Sage.
  • The harpoon was destroyed on death; it is unknown if this was the case during Trailblazer Reloaded League.
• The echo harpoon was a very similar item used in later events.
