The Ruinous powers is an item obtained within the Trailblazer Reloaded League, given to players at a bank upon unlocking the Ruinous Powers relic.

The item allows players to alternate between the standard prayer book and the Ruinous Powers prayer book. If lost or destroyed, the Ruinous powers can be reclaimed from The Sage.

This item may be equipped and used as an alternative to the Ancient Staff or the Ancient Sceptre to grant a negative prayer bonus in order to complete the master clue step for Abbot Langley.

In the God Wars Dungeon, this item did not provide protection against Zaros' troops when worn, despite the large symbol of Zaros on the book's cover.
