Trailblazer Reloaded League/Guide/Crafting

Crafting is modified by the following relics:

Endless Harvest greatly increases the speed at which players can obtain gold ore, silver ore, and uncut gems from gem rocks.

Production Prodigy:

• Process all at once for: Crafting leather, jewellery, battlestaves, or pottery, cutting uncut gems, glassblowing, and spinning flax or wool.
• Full XP is given for items processed using this relic.
• There is a 25% chance that you will make an extra product, which will be sent to your bank if you have space. The additional product will also grant XP.
• Crafting is boosted by +12.

Banker's Note allows players to note Crafting materials.

Fire Sale makes many material and tool shops free.

Common materials used to train crafting are molten glass, gems, tanned hides, flax, and battlestaves. Most of these items have region restrictions which will limit a player's ability to train with them during Trailblazer Reloaded League.

Molten glass can be made by using a bucket of sand and soda ash or giant seaweed in a furnace. Molten glass can be crafted using a glassblowing pipe. All of these items are obtainable in the starting region of the Trailblazer Reloaded League, particularly by accessing available charter shops.

Gems can be mined from the gem rocks in Shilo Village in Karamja with level 40 Mining or in the Lunar Isle mine, see the Mining guide for more details. Wearing a charged amulet of glory greatly increases the probability of successfully mining the gem rock. Gold ore and silver ore can be obtained commonly from many sources. Unfortunately, the moulds necessary to process these items are more difficult to come by, and requires either level 44 Construction to build a tool store 4 in a player-owned house, or by unlocking the Desert or Asgarnia areas for access to a crafting shop. Ring, bracelet, and necklace moulds are also sold on Ape Atoll at Hamab's Crafting Emporium.

Although cow hide and dragonhide are easily obtained in the starting area, tanneries are not available without unlocking additional areas, which renders those materials temporarily useless. If a player chooses to unlock the Wilderness, Tirannwn, and Fremennik areas then they will be unable to use these materials until they complete the Fremennik Hard Diary and obtain level 78 Magic.

Needle and thread are obtainable in Varrock at the Fancy Clothes Store.

Flax can be spun into bowstring at a spinning wheel for 15 Crafting experience each, however the only way to obtain flax in the starting area is on the Isle of Souls, or by catching baby implings (1/100) or through the bee keeper random event.

A battlestaff may be created and then alched by attaching an elemental orb to a normal battlestaff. Elemental orbs are difficult to obtain due to area restrictions. The only way to craft battlestaves without either the Wilderness or Asgarnia areas unlocked will be to obtain earth orbs from the Abyssal Sire or to obtain water orbs in Kandarin from waterfiends or to pickpocket fire orbs from elves in Tirannwn.

Crafting leather items requires access to a tanner or the ability to cast Tan Leather. A needle and thread is also required to make assorted leather items.

• Leather can be turned into equipment that requires up to level 38 Crafting
  • Cows can be found in many places, particularly in Lumbridge. The closest cow pen to a bank is in Tirannwn✓, in the village of Gwenith
• Green dragon leather can be crafted starting at level 57 Crafting
  • Green dragons can be found in the Wilderness✓ or Kandarin✓ if Fremennik✓ is also unlocked
  • Brutal green dragons can be found in Kandarin✓
  • Vorkath commonly drops large quantities of green dragonhide
• Blue dragon leather can be crafted with, starting at level 66 Crafting
  • Blue dragons can be found in Kandarin✓ and Asgarnia✓
  • Brutal blue dragons can be found in the Catacombs of Kourend Kourend✓
  • Vorkath commonly drops large quantities of blue dragonhide
• Red dragon leather can be crafted with, starting at level 73 Crafting
  • Red dragons can be found in Karamja✓, Kourend✓ and Kandarin✓ if Fremennik✓ is also unlocked
  • Vorkath commonly drops large quantities of red dragonhide
• Black dragon leather can be crafted with, starting at level 79 Crafting
  • Black dragons are found in the Taverley Dungeon in Asgarnia✓, the Evil Chicken's Lair in Misthalin✓ (if Fremennik✓ and ( Kandarin✓ or Morytania✓) is also unlocked), one in Mynydd in Tirannwn✓, the Revenant Caves in the Wilderness✓, and the Corsair Cove Dungeon in Kandarin✓ (if Fremennik✓ is also unlocked)
  • Brutal black dragons can be found in the Catacombs of Kourend Kourend✓
  • The King Black Dragon always drops two black dragonhides
  • Magpie and ninja implings commonly drop black dragonhide
  • Vorkath commonly drops large quantities of black dragonhide

Entrana in Asgarnia✓ is a good place to blow glass, as it has respawns for glassblowing pipes and seaweed and has a sand pit, a range and a furnace.

• Beer glasses can be crafted at level 1, although it may not be worth it to craft with glass until level 46 to make unpowered orbs
• Unless unpowered orbs are needed to craft battlestaves, lantern lenses should be crafted starting at level 49
• Empty light orbs are the final product that can be created with molten glass, requiring level 87

Gems can be cut with a chisel starting at level 1 with uncut opals. Gold bars or silver bars can be combined with gems and a jewellery mould in a furnace to create rings, necklaces, bracelets, or amulets.

Crafting birdhouses provides a low amount of Crafting experience.

Creating crystal equipment using a Singing bowl in Tirannwn✓ is an expensive way to gain a large amount of experience. The boosted drop rates for crystal armour seed and crystal weapon seed from The Gauntlet can be very useful,with enough crystal shards you can train both smithing and crafting extremely fast using only 1 or more crystal armour seed

Repairing barricades within Pest Control in Asgarnia✓ grants a low amount of Crafting experience, as well as a moderate amount of activity points within the mini-game, making it a minor auxiliary method for busy Pest Control games.
