Shark lures are a fishing enhancer item, which is used as bait to improve the success rate of catching raw sharks. The configured amount of lures will always be consumed per raw shark caught. Shark lures can be stored inside a tackle box.

Shark lures can be used at 1, 3, or 5 at a time for further improved rates per lure, with diminishing experience per lure used at a time.

It is dropped from certain bosses and chests that drop large quantities of food, a portion of which was replaced with shark lure drops.[1]

Using shark lures decreases the drop rate of the Heron pet, making it rarer.[2]

Their increased catching speed makes fishing with them one of the best methods of obtaining moon key loop halves and the big shark.
