Piles is a banknote exchange merchant located inside the Resource Area, and will note any items that can be obtained within the Resource Area for a fee of 50 coins per item. This includes items brought from outside that you could obtain from scratch within the area.
According to Piles, he was inspired by Miles, Giles, and Niles who occupied the Draynor Village market, noting items, and decided to change his name and follow in their footsteps.

- The Resource Area entry fee is required (7,500 by default; 6,000 if the medium Wilderness Diary is completed, 3,750 if the hard diary is completed, or free if the elite diary is completed).
