A player using the Flask of fervour

The flask of fervour is an item obtained during the Demonic Pacts League, given to players who picked the Flask of Fervour relic.

When the Flask is consumed, Hitpoints, prayer points, and special attack energy are fully restored. The player may also use this when their hitpoints reach 0 but has not started the death animation. Over the next 4 ticks (2.4s), three explosions hit all enemies (with some exceptions, see below) within 3 tiles of the player's position at each intervals (follows the player) typeless damage equal to 60% of base Prayer level (30% in PvP). During the active effect, all damage taken is reduced to 0. Venom is cured upon use and sanity is restored to 100%.

The flask has a base cooldown of 3 minutes (300 ticks) which is reduced by 1 tick (0.6s) for each instance of 10 damage dealt in a single hit, meaning that a player who attacks for 40 damage, or deals 2x20 damage reduces the cooldown by 4 ticks (2.4s). Dealing 2x9 damage does not reduce the cooldown. Its own explosion damage also does not reduce the cooldown.

The flask can be retrieved from the Leagues Tutor in Yama's Lair if lost.

Notes

  • The flask's healing restores the player to their base maximum Hitpoints; it does not overheal even if the player has overheal Demonic Pacts. If the player is above their base maximum Hitpoints upon activation, the increased level will be preserved.
  • The damage from the explosion benefits from the Demonic Pact effect that causes recoil and Thorns style effects to deal additional damage equal to 1% of your total defence bonuses.
  • Unlike surge potions, the flask's cooldown timer is not paused between delve levels when fighting the Doom of Mokhaiotl.
  • The flask is available within The Gauntlet and its explosions work on all enemies. Its cooldown also resets upon entering.

Exceptions

The explosions from the flask do not damage the following bosses:

  • Yama
  • Bosses in phases where they are completely immune to damage (eg. Hespori while flowers are active, Abyssal Sire immediately after teleporting the player)

The explosions from the flask do not damage the following enemies:

Trivia

  • Despite an empty version of the item existing in the game cache, activating a charged one ingame does not empty it, making it impossible to obtain.
