Demonic Pacts League/Guide/Farming

Training Farming is similar to the main game. Seeds must be acquired and then planted in available farming patches. Farming ticks are increased by 5x for all players during the league.

Access to patches varies greatly depending on the regions taken. However, all players are guaranteed two allotment patches, two flower patches, a herb patch, a hops patch, a tree patch, a fruit tree patch, a belladonna patch, and a calquat patch in the starting region of Varlamore. A hardwood tree patch becomes available after completing The Ribbiting Tale of a Lily Pad Labour Dispute A second fruit tree patch, second calquat tree patch, and a spirit tree patch become available after unlocking Karamja.

As two allotment patches are immediately available (west of Civitas illa Fortis), Farming can be easily trained starting at level 1. Seeds can be obtained in many ways, with the most accessible being pickpocketing farmers (at level 10 Thieving) and master farmers (at level 38 Thieving) near farming patches.

Supercompost can be made in Compost Bins at the Civitas illa Fortis allotment patch. Pineapples purchased from the charter ship shop are an easy way to make supercompost. Ultracompost is not available without the Transmute relic to make volcanic ash or ultracompost directly, as it otherwise is only obtainable on Fossil Island, which is not accessible in this league.

If Kourend is taken, the Tithe Farm and Farming contracts are ideal for seed acquisition and training Farming.

Farming is modified by the following relics:

Nature's Accord makes it so farming patches and plants no longer have any level requirements to plant or harvest. Additionally, you receive 10x yield from patches, automatically noted with XP granted for all additional resources; your plants will never die; and you have a 20% chance to not use a seed or sapling when planting them.

Woodsman gives random tree or herb seeds when Hunter traps are harvested.

Larcenist gives a 100% success rate on Thieving actions, automatically re-pickpockets, and increases the loot received by pickpocketing by 10x. This is useful for lower level farmers when pickpocketing master farmers, as they provide a large array of allotment, flower and herb seeds.

Transmute allows the player to transmute seeds into different kinds of seeds, ideal for spirit, mahogany and notably, dragonfruit seeds (which are particularly rare if not taking or ). Additionally, this relic is the only way to get ultracompost.

Soul Harvest yields soul shards when a crop is harvested (including harvesting fruit in Tithe Farm and harvesting herbs in the Chambers of Xeric). These shards can then be used to train Prayer or Runecrafting and is highly encouraged if training these two skills.

• Picking potatoes, onions, sweetcorn, and cabbages (all of which can be found south of Civitas illa Fortis) has a chance to occasionally yield a seed of that type.
• Pickpocketing farmers (level 10 Thieving) and master farmers (level 38 Thieving) near the farming patches on Varlamore.
• Temple trekking can provide a large supply of watermelon seeds for experience and making supercompost.
• Grimy Lizards in have a fairly decent drop rate for teak and mahogany seeds; coupled with only 1 hardwood patch, it is ideal for players who do not pick or
• Theatre of Blood can provide yew, palm, magic and most notably, mahogany seeds.
• Giant Mole in can be killed to convert its mole skin and mole claw drops into bird nests from Wyson. These provide a good assortment of seeds.
• Zulrah in has a good assortment of high-level seeds, such as papaya, palm, spirit, and most notably, calquat seeds.
• Phantom Muspah drops a good assortment of mid- and high-level seeds.
• Players with excess crystal weapon seeds, crystal armour seeds or crystal tool seeds can bring them to Pennant for a crystal acorn. The acorn can then be planted with 74 Farming at the nearby patch, and will never die. If players do not have seeds on hand, they can simply buy from Islywn and revert the equipment back into a seed form.
• Doom of Mokhaiotl drops celastrus and spirit seeds.
• Seed packs are awarded for completing Farming contracts in the Farming Guild, or purchasable from Farmer Gricoller at the Tithe Farm . These provide a wide array of seeds.

The Farming cape cannot be purchased in this league, but the max cape provides the same benefits.
