Demonic Pacts League/Guide/Mining

Training Mining is not initially very different from training in the main game. Pickaxes can be purchased from shops in Cam Torum or Mistrock, and several mines are available in Varlamore. All standard ore types are offered in Varlamore.

At level 41, players can go to Cam Torum and train via calcified rocks, which also provide blessed bone shards for training Prayer. They deplete slowly, thus allowing for low-attention play for players without Endless Harvest.

Mining is modified by the following relics:

Endless Harvest which allows for endless gathering from mining rocks, even if they are depleted by an initial mining action. This allows a player to essentially maximise AFK times at a desired rock.

Barbarian Gathering which allows players to use their fists as a pickaxe, equivalent to crystal, with an additional 50% chance to succeed when a mining action fails. When gaining Mining XP, an additional 10% in Strength and Agility is received. Ores and bars can also be stored in the knapsack for extended inventory space.

Hotfoot gives the player the searing boots, which, along with several Agility-related benefits, will automatically smelt mined ore into bars when equipped. This allows players to train Smithing at the same time with Mining.

Butler's Bell allows the player to summon a demon butler who can perform various activities for them, including mining ores at a rate of 8 per minute (including while offline). No XP is received for this, only the resources.

Mining crashed stars offers low experience rates but requires very little attention. This is ideal for players who don't have a need to mine calcified rocks.

As part of the Shooting Stars Distraction and Diversion, a shooting star will fall at a random spot across all areas. This method becomes available at level 10 Mining, although higher tier stars require higher levels. The mined stardust can be exchanged for a celestial ring , which gives an invisible +4 boost to Mining.

League stars are commonly called out in the official shooting stars chat. They are typically indicated by "(l)" at the end of the message.

Mining infernal shale deposits in Kourend✓ with the Barbarian Gathering relic at level 78 Mining allows for low-effort training, while also allowing players to gather infernal shale for oathplate armour. Mining the deposit requires speaking and signing a contract with Yama first.

Barbarian Gathering's chance to force a mining success allows players to mine the deposit at a much faster rate than they normally would, giving a base XP rate per hour of 40k. Mining is only interrupted either when the player's inventory is full or when the deposit swaps places. A hammer and chisel are required to be used to break down the infernal shale into crushed infernal shale if being gathered for oathplate armour.

Barbarian Gathering's knapsack can not hold infernal shale.

Pickaxes cannot be made using the Smithing skill. The following tables detail common methods to obtain pickaxes in the Demonic Pacts League:

Both the Tizoro's Pickaxes shop in Cam Torum and Mistrock Mining Supplies on Aldarin shop are available in Varlamore.

Dragon pickaxes are only dropped by several of the Wilderness bosses and the Kalphite Queen .
