Mole claws are dropped by the Giant Mole that lurks below Falador Park. It is also dropped by molanisks and experiment No.2s. Players who have completed the Falador hard achievement diary will receive mole claws and mole skins from the Giant Mole in noted form. Like the mole skins, mole claws can be traded to Wyson the gardener for bird nests.

Unlike nests received through Woodcutting, Bird house trapping or Managing Miscellania, these nests never contain bird's eggs but often contain allotment and herb seeds.

Mole claws can be used to change the baby mole pet to the baby mole-rat. This can then be undone by using a mole skin on the baby mole-rat.

Wyson the gardener will exchange mole claws and mole skins for nests at the rate of 1 nest per claw or skin. He will reward a unique variant of seed nest that contains different seeds than the woodcutting variant, as well as ring nests and empty nests. Wyson will accept noted claws and skins, and will provide nest boxes if the inventory is too full to hold all the nests.
