The thousand-dragon ward was an unlock in the Grid Master community event, unlocked by completing all tasks in column 7.

While equipped, the player is immune to a number of status effects and attacks, including poison, venom, dragonfire (except from drakes), icy breath, swamp decay, disease, desert heat, and chill stat-drains. This immunity also applies to more specific damage sources, such as Nex's ice prison, the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon floor, and poison gas clouds. Note that this will NOT prevent damage from Echo King Black Dragon's venom attack, but will prevent the venom status effect from being applied. The ward does not provide immunity to stat drain effect from basilisks.
