Desert

Echo bosses are a new system to Raging Echoes League that grant players the opportunity to fight challenging variants of existing bosses, targeting difficulty levels more suited to the power level that players attain during leagues. Each unlockable area contains an echo boss that drop echo equipment. An area's echo equipment is designed to supplement the area's shortfalls for attainable items and can rival other areas' best-in-slot equipment.

Overview

In order to access an echo boss, the player must acquire the region's echo orb from the non-echo variant of the boss and have it in their inventory while entering the boss area.

Desert

The echo variant in the desert is the Kalphite Queen, which resides in the Kalphite Lair and has no requirements to fight.

The drygore blowpipe is a light ranged weapon which uses unpoisoned darts as ammunition. Similar to the Osmumten's fang, it has a passive effect which provides two independent accuracy rolls; if either is higher than the opponent's original defence roll, the attack is a successful hit.

Asgarnia

The echo variant in Asgarnia is Cerberus, which requires Slayer 91 Slayer and a hellhounds slayer task. Once an Asgarnia echo orb is obtained, a hellhounds task is no longer required to fight the echo variant.

The dogsword is a two-handed weapon with a special attack that consumes 50% of the wielder's special attack energy. The special attack applies all of the godswords' special attacks at once.

Wilderness

The echo variant in the Wilderness is King Black Dragon which has no requirements to fight. The echo variant has the chance to drop two unique items.

The first unique item is the thunder khopesh, a slash sword with a passive effect in which standard attacks give a 20% chance to trigger a lighting bolt under the target, hitting anything in a 3x3 Area-Of-Effect, rolling for 50% of the player's max hit. Additionally, the khopesh also deals full damage against the Corporeal Beast.

The thunder khopesh has a special attack, which consumes 50% of the wielder's special attack energy. The special attack will perform two standard attacks in succession; if either is a successful hit, an additional lightning bolt is summoned that rolls up to 100% of the player's maximum hit.

The second is the thousand-dragon ward, an offensive shield which when equipped gives the player immunity to a number of status effects and attacks, including poison, venom, dragonfire, icy breath, swamp decay, disease, desert heat, and chill stat-drains. This immunity also applies to more specific damage sources, such as Nex's ice prison, the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon floor, and poison gas clouds.

Morytania

The echo variant in Morytania is the Grotesque Guardians which require Slayer 75 Slayer and a gargoyles slayer task. Once a Morytania echo orb is obtained, a gargoyle task is no longer required to fight the echo variant.

Gloves of the damned have the same stats as barrows gloves with two added special effects:

Fremennik

The echo variant in Fremennik is the Dagannoth Kings, which have no requirements to fight. The echo variant has the chance to drop two unique items.

The first unique item is the amulet of the monarchs, giving strong stats in all styles, including 15 melee and ranged strength, 10% magic damage bonus, and 10 prayer bonus.

The second is the emperor ring, which gives the identical bonuses as the amulet of the monarchs, except with a 5% magic damage bonus.

Kandarin

The echo variant in Kandarin is the Thermonuclear smoke devil, which requires Slayer 93 Slayer and a smoke devil slayer task. The echo variant does not require a slayer task once the Kandarin echo orb is obtained.

The echo variant has a chance to drop the devil's element, which is a shield slot item providing +20 magic attack accuracy, +3 prayer bonus, and +6% magic damage bonus.

Providing unlimited elemental runes whilst equipped, the devil's element has a passive effect where attacks will double an NPC's elemental weakness when applicable. For example, the Barrows brothers, who have a 50% weakness to air spells, will have a 100% weakness instead if casting air spells with the devil's element equipped.

Tirannwn

The echo variant in Tirannwn is a variant of Crystalline Hunllef, which can be fought inside the Gauntlet. Before fighting the echo variant, a Tirannwn echo orb must be obtained from the Corrupted Gauntlet. Once obtained, the echo orb allows players to skip the preparation phase of the Gauntlet in future trips. Choosing to fight the echo variant will equip the player with a full set of crystal equipment for the fight.

The crystal blessing is an ammo slot item that provides 5 prayer bonus, and expands the accuracy and damage bonus from crystal armour (that is usually applied to the crystal bow and Bow of Faerdhinen) to all melee weapons.

Kourend

The echo variant in Kourend is Hespori. Once a Kourend echo orb has been obtained, the echo variant can be fought repeatedly, without waiting for a seed to grow.

The nature's reprisal is a salamander-type weapon that is charged with 1 nature and 5 earth runes per attack. It is able to attack with all three combat styles with the added benefit of an expanded attack range, even when using melee.

Varlamore

The echo variant in Varlamore is Sol Heredit, found in the Fortis Colosseum. By beating all of the standard waves and the normal variant of Sol Heredit, the Varlamore echo orb is obtained, allowing players to skip the waves and immediately fight the echo variant. There are two obtained items from the echo variant.

The first unique item is the sunlight spear, a two-handed weapon with strong stab, slash, and defensive bonuses. Every time the player attacks using the spear, they will gain a "Sunlight Stack", which can be stacked up to 20. The spear's special attack consumes 7 Sunlight Stacks (rather than special attack energy), hitting all targets within three tiles of the player with the damage dealt increasing by 3% per prayer bonus the player has.

The second are the sunlit bracers, a pair of gloves with a passive effect that doubles all healing received, and is additive with other healing modifiers such as the amulet of blood fury, blood spells, and Guthan the Infested's equipment.
