Raging Echoes League/Guide/Smithing

Smithing is modified by the following relics:

Power Miner allows players to gather ore more quickly, and can automatically smelt mined ore.

Banker's Note allows players to un-note ore at the furnace and bars at anvils, removing the need for trips to and from a bank.

Production Master allows players to process all ores or bars in their inventory in one action.

Players with a large quantity of coins may purchase ore in bulk from certain shops. With the Golden God relic, items may also be purchased in noted form for even quicker acquisition.

To convert coins to the Tokkul required for the TzHaar-Hur-Lek's Ore and Gem Store and TzHaar-Hur-Rin's Ore and Gem Store shops, players may purchase Chaos rune packs or Death runes from Aubury's Rune Shop in Varrock. These runes can then be sold to the TzHaar-Mej-Roh's Rune Store shop for Tokkul. Wearing any Karamja gloves significantly improves prices when buying items with or selling items for Tokkul.

• Kingdom Management can provide up to 546 coal per day.
• The Theatre of Blood commonly rewards several hundred noted coal.
• Larran's chests commonly rewards several hundred noted coal.
• The Whisperer has a common drop of up to 455 coal.
• Spoils of war from Soul Wars cost 30 zeal and can contain up to 300 coal.
• Amoxliatl commonly drops 20-30 noted coal.
• Sulphur Nagua commonly drop both noted coal and iron ore.

• Zalcano provides significant quantities of raw ore, coal, and metal bars.

• Pickpocketing Elves and selling Enhanced crystal teleport seeds for shards, to sing into crystal equipment, can yield a large amount of Smithing experience.

The Blast Furnace is only accessible if a player unlocks Fremennik✓. Any ore smelted requires 50% less coal and is processed instantly. Ice gloves are provided upon unlocking Fremennik. The Blast Furnace will be operated by dwarf NPCs who charge players 72,000 per hour. Players with less than level 60 Smithing must pay an additional 2,500 to the Foreman every 10 minutes for access.

The Giants' Foundry is available to players who unlock the Desert✓. Foundry Reputation is affected by the minigame point multiplier. Players with Golden God can purchase high-value items to smelt down.

The smith's outfit and smithing catalyst can be used to increase the efficiency of further smithing training.

Players may wish to use the Blast Furnace or the standard spell superheat item at the cost of ^{4 1} with level 43 Magic instead.
