Raging Echoes League/Guide/Construction

Overview
The only house portal available in the starting region of the Raging Echoes League is the Brimhaven house portal on Karamja.
Mahogany Homes intro is automatically completed with Misthalin✓, so everyone can do construction contracts.[1] Players will only be assigned contracts that can be completed in their unlocked regions.
A servant like the Demon butler is only obtainable after unlocking Kandarin✓. Therefore, training Construction can be very tedious without making use of
Banker's Note
Training
Daddy's Home can be completed for early Construction experience and supplies. After 12 Construction, beginner STASH units around Varrock and Lumbridge can be built with 2 planks and 10 nails for 150 base experience each. After 21 Construction, the Fossil Island Museum Camp can be rebuilt. After 27 Construction, easy STASH units as are available to build. These STASH units may be created without the items needed to fill them, for more experience than the planks would provide from building POH furniture.
Golden God
Golden God allows players to accumulate large amounts of money as it allows for free casting of Low Level Alchemy or High Level Alchemy, with a 15% increased value and 65% chance to keep the item rather than losing it when it is alchemized. This allows players to easily obtain a large coin stack required for the purposes of training Construction, as coins are needed for building rooms, converting logs to planks and buying other materials.
Unlocking Fremennik✓ or
Varlamore✓ provides access to construction shops, which sell expensive materials that provide massive amounts of experience.
- Level 37 — lesser magical balances can be built in a games room, using only elemental runes bought from Aubury's Rune Shop.
- Level 47 — gold sinks can be built in a kitchen for a whopping 11,144 base experience (89,152xp with 8x multiplier, and 133,728 with 12x). This requires 5 mahogany planks, 10 condensed gold, and 5 gold leaves, making inventory management inconvenient, but can be used to skip many levels.
- Level 63 — marble fireplaces can be built in a parlour for 500 base experience (4,000 xp with 8x multiplier, 6,000 xp with 12x), using 1 marble block as the only component.
- Level 68 — ornate league statue can be built in a league hall for 3,300 base experience (26,400 with 8x multiplier, 39,600 with 12x, using 6 marble blocks and 1 gold leaf.
- Level 72 — marble portal nexi can be built in a portal nexus room for 2,000 base experience (16,000 xp with 8x multiplier, 24,000 xp with 12x), using 4 marble blocks as the only component.
- Level 79 — marble walls can be built in a superior garden for 4,000 base experience (32,000xp with 8x multiplier, and 48,000 with 12x), using 8 marble blocks as the only component. Note: Removing the wall triggers a house reload screen, so consider making ornate league statues to 95.
- Level 95 — crystal thrones can be built in a throne room for 15,000 base experience (120,000xp with 8x multiplier, and 180,000 with 12x), using 15 magic stones as the only component.
- Level 99 — demonic thrones can be built in a throne room for 25,000 base experience (200,000xp with 8x multiplier, and 300,000 with 12x), using 25 magic stones as the only component. This requires a wieldable tool such as Imcando hammer or Amy's saw to do efficiently with
Banker's Note.
Garden Centres in Asgarnia✓ and
Kourend✓ sell bagged plants, which provide less experience per inventory slot than other methods but also train Farming.
Level 70 — Using only coins the guard space in the dungeon and the monster space in the treasure room provide high experience rates (up to 5,000 base experience per monster costing up to 5,000 coins per base xp).
Planks
Planks can be relatively hard to come by as most monsters do not drop large amounts needed to train Construction. With Banker's Note Construction training is significantly easier; players can chop the logs they need, note them when finished, head to the sawmill to convert them, note the planks, and then unnote the logs. Likewise, they can unnote the planks while building items, negating the need to constantly run to and from the bank and house. If
Lumberjack is available, the Echo axe can be toggled to automatically bank chopped logs for construction training.
| Plank generation | Required region | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sawmill Operator (Varrock) | Starting area. The clue compass has a teleport to the sawmill. Without it, Kandarin region for Hot Air Balloon transportation or Desert region for Ring of the elements is recommended. The Asgarnia region may also be required to unlock the Hot Air Balloon destination. Mahogany and teak logs may be obtained on Karamja. | |
| Sawmill Operator (Woodcutting Guild) | Requires 60 Woodcutting to access. Conveniently located near oak trees, and a short distance from a bank. | |
| Sawmill Operator (Prifddinas) | Conveniently located near mahogany and teak trees, and a short distance from a bank. | |
| Demon butler | Must be hired at the Servants' Guild in East Ardougne. Costs a minimum of 48 gp per item processed. E.g. A mahogany plank costs a minimum of 1,548 gp to create. | |
| Plank Make | Requires the Lunar Spellbook and 86 Magic to cast. Minimum rune cost if purchasing from Baba Yaga's Magic Shop is 340 gp. E.g. A mahogany plank costs a minimum of 1,390 gp to create. |
Aside from Woodcutting, there are some notable sources of logs and planks.
Pocket Kingdom and Managing Miscellania
Fremennik✓ can allocate resources to hardwood trees, resulting in a large amount of passive teak and mahogany logs to be converted into planks.
Misthalin✓ Fossil island wyverns commonly drop noted Teak or Mahogany logs.
Kourend✓ Chambers of Xeric occasionally rewards Teak and Mahogany planks.
Wilderness✓ Callisto, Artio, and Corporeal Beast drop Mahogany logs. Revenants drop Mahogany planks. Vet'ion and Calvar'ion drop Oak planks.
Tirannwn✓ Zulrah occasionally drops Mahogany logs.
Restrictions
Certain constructed items require specific regions to unlock the resources necessary to create them. For example, the best prayer training available without unlocking the Fremennik, Varlamore, Wilderness, Kourend, or Morytania regions is offering bones to a limestone altar, which can be made at 64 Construction, for 275% Prayer experience. Additionally, the only jewellery box available without unlocking the Fremennik or Varlamore regions only offers games necklace and ring of dueling teleports. Many portal chamber or portal nexus teleports will be unavailable due to destination restrictions or spellbook restrictions.
Players who unlock Tirannwn✓ will have access to Anti-venom potions required to build the Ornate rejuvenation pool. Those who did not pick Tirannwn can build a flame pit to suicide on as an alternative to quickly restore stats, hitpoints, and prayer.
