Grid Master

Grid Master was a community event that began on 15 October 2025, lasting four weeks, ending on 12 November 2025. Grid Master was a temporary game mode where players started with fresh accounts to complete tasks presented in a 7x7 bingo grid. Completing any individual task provided a reward, while completing full rows or columns of the grid gave the player special, more powerful rewards.

Grid Master was a bingo-based community event. Players competed to complete tasks presented to them in a 7x7 grid. Completing tasks granted rewards for use on the 121 Grid Master community event worlds and accumulated Grid Points for use in purchasing rewards on the main game worlds. Both members and free-to-play players could access Grid Master, with the latter being able to complete the seven tasks in column 4, three additional tasks in row 4, and the 1,500 total level task for a total of 11 tasks worth 1,350 Grid Points.^[1] However, they could not redeem the points to purchase any rewards without membership.

The bingo grid system is intended to be polled for implementation within the main game worlds as well. Players would be able to design their own task lists and share with others.^[2]

• All players started as a fresh Ironman.
• All players started with the following multipliers:
  • a 5x (+400%) experience multiplier
  • a 5x slayer points multiplier
  • a 5x Farming growth rate multiplier
  • an 8x drop rates multiplier for eligible drops
  • an 4x minigame points multiplier for eligible minigames
  • Note: The experience multiplier could be further enhanced with unlocks.
• All players started with a dramen staff and the necessary quests unlocked to travel with fairy rings.
• Some quests that provide area access were unlocked at the start, such as The Corsair Curse, however others were not, such as Song of the Elves.
• Shops had unlimited stock.
• No experience rewards could be claimed from Nightmare Zone, Pest Control, or Soul Wars.

As players completed tile tasks, as well as filled out rows or columns of tiles on the grid, they were granted special rewards to enhance their journey. These unlocks included powerful items, quest auto-completions, and relics. Some of these items and relics were from prior Leagues.

All tasks from the middle column could be completed on free-to-play worlds, in addition to some from the middle row: "Gain over 30,000 coins from one Alchemy spell", "Equip any boots from the Stronghold of Security", and "Complete the Vampyre Slayer quest". It was technically possible to unlock "Reach 1,500 total level" as, while normally the maximum total level in free-to-play is 1,493, the echo axe enabled Fletching to be trained.

To obtain God Wars equipment, 70 Ranged, 70 Strength, 70 Agility, or 70 Hitpoints is required.

Combat Masteries are unlocks that boost Melee, Ranged, and Magic. They were identical to the ones first introduced in Raging Echoes League, except in Grid Master, each of the six tiers is unlocked at once as a reward for completing tasks and rows.

Each tier of combat masteries also had a passive bonus that applies to all styles of combat.

Items from certain sources were given a boosted drop rate multiplier of 8x in Grid Master.

Some minigames had their reward points or currencies boosted in Grid Master, with a points multiplier of 4x. The following were affected by this buff:

Completion of tasks accumulated Grid Points, referred to as "Event Points" on non-Grid Master worlds, which players can use to purchase cosmetic rewards from Nevet in Varrock Square. Items from each Community Event will always be available in her shop.^[3]

The following rewards are available for members to purchase. The total cost of all items in the shop is 19,400 points.

Additionally, the first three players to complete all tasks on the grid were given the opportunity to design a relic for the Demonic Pacts League, while the top 25 finishers received three months of membership.^[4][5]

On 23 October 2025, the three winners were announced in an update blog:

• After a server reset, the first lesser demon that is killed on the top floor of the Wizards' Tower will say Swarm the tower, my brethren when it dies, causing several lesser demons to spawn across all floors of the tower. These demons instantly respawned at the place of dying when killed.
