The tormented synapse is an item obtained as a rare drop from tormented demons, found in the Ancient Guthix Temple after completion of While Guthix Sleeps.
After reading Duradel's notes, which is obtained by talking to Kuradal and asking her about her father Duradel, players can use the synapse to create high-tier demonbane weapons.
Emberlight and the purging staff can only be made at an anvil, whereas the scorching bow has no such requirements.
You will need a hammer to create the Emberlight and the purging staff.
