Medium Wilderness Diary drops

Players who have completed the Medium Wilderness Diary will have a 50% chance to receive drops, in addition to bones, from a zombie pirate kill. This is greatly boosted from the base chance of 15% for players without the diary completion, as shown in the drop table below.^[1]

The average zombie pirate kill with the Medium Wilderness Diary completed is worth 4,638.07. Before completion of the diary, this is only 1,412.42.

If a player uses the Zombie pirate key drops to open the Zombie Pirate's Locker, the effective drop rate of the Teleport anchoring scroll increases approximately 4x to ~1/4904.

Changes

28 January 2026 (Update)	Ironmen are now eligible for loot from zombie pirates even if another player has damaged them, but the loot obtained will be proportional to the damage dealt.
25 June 2025 (Update)	Zombie pirates now have a 50% elemental weakness to fire spells.
10 July 2024 (Update)	Larran's keys are no longer dropped off-task. Slightly increased the average quantity of steel cannonballs dropped.
26 June 2024	Hotfix Reduced the chance of rolling the drop table from 50% to 15% for players who have not completed the medium Wilderness Diary.^[1]
12 April 2024 (Update)	Hotfix The drop rate of zombie pirate keys has been increased from 1/50 to 1/24.
