Clue scroll (beginner)

Reward caskets are chests found at the end of every Treasure Trail. They contain the rewards for that trail.

The player can possess unlimited amounts of reward caskets up to the stack limit. Players are eligible to receive more clue scrolls regardless of how many reward caskets are in the player's possession. In other words, caskets don't count towards the scroll box capacity.

There are six tiers of reward caskets:

Reward caskets that are opened on Entrana will exclude certain classes of items from the random roll, such as tier-specific uniques and weapons and armour, with the exception of beginner and master caskets which cannot be opened on Entrana whatsoever.[1] Opening caskets from easy clues on Entrana is a popular way for Ironman accounts to get pages for god books.

As untradeable items, reward caskets that are dropped will not be visible to other players and will stay on the ground for 3 minutes until they despawn. This may be useful in the Wilderness if encountering player killers, saving the casket to be opened later in a safe location.

Trivia

  • Attempting to cast a High Level Alchemy spell on a reward casket will result in the message, "Wouldn't you rather solve the clue?"
