Scroll case

Upon completion of X Marks the Spot, scroll boxes are obtained in place of clue scrolls, and are stackable up to a certain limit depending on the number of clue completions; this cap, which includes scrolls and scroll boxes, starts at 2 for each clue tier, and can be increased to a maximum of 5 by opening the following scroll cases:

• Minor scroll case - increases the stack limit of scroll boxes by 1 for a specific tier.
• Major scroll case - increases the stack limit of scroll boxes by 1 for a specific tier (for a total of +2 with the minor case).
• Mimic scroll case - rewarded upon defeating the Mimic, and increases the stack limit of scroll boxes by 1 for all tiers.

Your current scroll box capacity can be checked at a Treasure Trail Statistics board.

Players who completed enough clue scrolls to be eligible for a case prior to the 2 July 2025 update that added scroll cases will have the cases in question be automatically opened and added to their collection log. If the player's inventory is full when receiving a case, the case will fall to the ground, and continue to drop from each casket opened after until the case is used. Attempting to pick up a duplicate scroll case on the ground gives the message You've already obtained this scroll case!

Minor and major scroll cases are rewarded upon reaching the following treasure trail completion milestones for each tier:

When one of these milestone clue caskets are opened, the corresponding scroll case will be included with the normal clue rewards in the rewards display, and added to the player's inventory.
