The shipyard is a dock where players customise ships for Sailing. It is accessed by selecting the Customise-boat option on a shipwright in any port. When at the shipyard, the nearby boat schematics board allows players to select which of the ships components they wish to upgrade.
During the sailing alpha and beta, the shipyard was a copy of shipyard (Karamja), before becoming shipyard as an actual island in the world. The shipyard portal can be used to return to a port.
