Partisans are a category of one-handed melee weapons with combat stats balanced between stab and crush, and with no access to a slash attack style. Due to their one-handed nature, partisans may be wielded in conjunction with a shield or defender to provide additional bonuses.

There are currently 5 partisans in game, 4 of which are upgraded versions of the keris partisan (obtained as a reward from the quest Beneath Cursed Sands) using jewels rewarded from the Tombs of Amascut.

Though partisans are visually similar to hastae and mjolnirs, they exhibit some differences. Unlike hastae, they cannot be poisoned by any means and do not have access to a slash attack style; and unlike mjolnirs which are a group of polestaves, partisans are one-handed and have stab attack styles.
