A black spear is a two-handed melee weapon requiring 10 Attack to wield. Black spears are obtained as a gift from turning vampyre Juvinates into humans or from looting Shades of Mort'ton minigame chests in the Shade Catacombs. As with most spears, it can be poisoned.
As with all black and white equipment, the black spear cannot be made from raw materials using the Smithing skill.
Unlike most spears, there is no equivalent tier of hasta.
