The black cane can be obtained as a reward from Easy Treasure Trails. As with most black equipment, level 10 Attack is needed to equip this item. It is not used often as a weapon as it has the same stats as a black mace with a 1-tick slower attack speed.

This cane is topped with a cut ruby gem. The cane is popular because of its looks, going well with items that match the colours such as black elegant clothing. As a result, its market price is higher than its adamant counterpart, despite the latter being both a better weapon and a reward from a higher-level treasure trail.

As with all black and white equipment, the black cane cannot be made from raw materials using the Smithing skill.

This item can be stored in the treasure chest of a costume room, provided that the interface of the corresponding clue tier is opened before attempting to store the item. Alternatively, the item can be used on the opened treasure chest to insert it without viewing the interface.
