Beret

Berets are easy Treasure Trails rewards. They are purely cosmetic, and come in black, white, red, and blue.

A black beret can be attached to a mime mask for 500 by talking to Patchy on Mos Le'Harmless.

• The berets' examine text, "Parlez-vous francais?" is French for "Do you speak French?" In written French, "français" should be spelled with a "ç."
• The silk merchant in Ardougne square wears a purple beret, a nonexistent item.
• The pink gamer in the rat pits wears a pink beret, also a nonexistent item.
• The Gielinor Guide on Tutorial Island was the only NPC to wear a red beret until its release on 12 June 2014 with the Treasure Trail Expansion update, which made it available to players.
